Next Gathering, This Saturday 10/28/09 - 11AM to 12:30PM
Greetings My Friends,
I know that we have gotten off schedule. After a month of prayer and deliberation we have decided to change the time of our gathering to 11AM Saturday mornings. With winter around the corner and the darkness coming earlier, we felt that it would be a good time to try this. If we find that it is not working out, we can always change it back. I have asked about a dozen attendee’s and have had great feedback.
Another thing that is happening is that we will be meeting on the off Saturdays to have a discussion group. We will be discussing as well as preparing for current and future events. Matt Lanteire has agreed to lead the discussion-he does such a great job at this. This group will also meet at 11AM. There will be no music worship and will last no more than 90 minutes. Once again we will see how this works out.
I am really looking forward to all of these gatherings. Please keep your eyes on the web-site under up-coming events. I will also keep the emails coming. I am hopeful that this will work out for you.
This Saturday, October 28th will be a discussion group (from 11am-12:30 PM) and next Saturday, November 7th will be our study with Steven Ger (from 11AM to 1PM.
I am in the process of editing Steven Ger’s teachings. As you know, Steven is in full time ministry, and relies on donations in order to continue doing what he does. These teaching will be available for a small donation. Please visit Stevens web site –the address is below.
I appreciate each one of you and look forward to seeing you soon.
Please read the information below;

Many Christians thirst for knowledge of our faith’s Jewish roots. They are hungry for answers that can revitalize faith and transform lives. Their questions range from how the Jewish culture and traditions of Jesus’ day give deeper insight into His teachings to why the ancient Jewish holy days are relevant to Christian believers. And whether current events in the Middle East are evolving as foretold by ancient Hebrew prophecies.
The answers to these questions are crucial to an accurate appreciation of our heritage and destiny. You may have a question of your own concerning the Jewish heart of Christianity.
As a fourth-generation Jewish Christian, Steven address’s these issues with informed answers. And as a Jewish believer, trained in both church and synagogue, with a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary, he is well equipped to carry on a family tradition of reaching both Jew and Gentile for Messiah.

Amy Downing has agreed to teach when Steven is on the road. Amy is a great friend and a great teacher. Please see below.
The purpose of Tzedakah Ministries can be found in its name — Tzedakah — which in Hebrew means “righteousness.” However, Tzedakah means so much more. As the Holman Bible Dictionary explains, “…righteousness is the fulfillment of the terms of a covenant between God and humanity or between humans in the full range of human relationships.” Tzedakah Ministries has a burden to see the Jewish people restored to a righteous covenant relationship with Him — one that is only possible through Messiah Jesus.
