A Quick Message
From Michael Lederer

Before proceeding into Hebrews, Steven Ger our bible teacher is enthusiastic about sharing a six part study he has freshly developed on the book of Galatians! More big news is that after much conversation and prayer, Steven and I have decided to fold New Wine (Yayin Chadosh) Fellowship into Sojourner Ministries. This will enable us to receive tax deductible donations and provide a structural umbrella for the fellowship. Your financial support will strengthen New Wine Fellowship and enable its long-term viability. In addition, we would like be quality guests and offer Brookhaven Baptist Church something toward their utility expenses. There will be a Tzedakah (offering) box present for these purposes, as the Lord leads you.

As many of you know, Steven Ger has many gifts. A wonderful worship leader, teacher, and author. Steven’s commentaries are used by many for the purpose of unveiling the deeper meaning of the scriptures - one may not grasp these without sufficient instruction. I will continue to lead worship with the help of Susan White, Eddie Lederer, Carol Betton, Donna Klein , Diane Kaufman and other gifted friends.

We have seen many of you study with us over the past two years and are hopeful that we will see many of you attending this new, amazing study.

Meeting Dates:
Sat, Aug 28, 4-6 PM Galatians Intro and ch. 1

Sat, Sept 11, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 1 (cont)

Sat, Oct 9, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 3

Sat, Oct 23, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 4

Where:
13000 Marsh Lane
Dallas, TX 75234-6660
Located about ½ mile north on Marsh Lane, exit LBJ highway (on the right) and head north. Park in the parking lot on the right, just off of Valley View. There is a entryway into the meeting room from the parking lot.

Shalom Everyone,

This is Michael Lederer with an update on New Wine (Yayin Chadosh) Fellowship’s upcoming meeting schedule.

Wow, what a summer! We just took our daughter Lindsey to college and are moving Jill’s mom into a nursing home this week as well as preparing Stephen for his Bar Mitzvah In addition, our three year business lease is up, so we have converted the second floor of our home into our office and are at the end of the process of moving in. It has been a whirlwind!

Steven Ger has been out of state teaching a good portion of the summer with his schedule having been every bit as hectic as ours.
We are ready to crank up our New Wine (Yayin Chadosh) Fellowship meetings once again.

A dear friend of mine, Chris Barker (worship leader at Brookhaven Baptist Church), has offered us a GREAT room to meet in. We will have a private entrance from the parking lot directly into the room. It is used for the youth- there is a stage and about 50 seats. What a Blessing!

The first meeting will be this coming Saturday, August 28th from 4PM - 6PM. We will meet every other week, as per the following schedule:

Sat, Aug 28, 4-6 PM Galatians Intro and ch. 1

Sat, Sept 11, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 1 (cont)

Sat, Sept 25, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 2

Sat, Oct 9, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 3

Sat, Oct 23, 4-6 PM Galatians ch. 4

Before proceeding into Hebrews, Steven Ger, our messianic teacher, is enthusiastic about sharing for the Fall months a six part study he has freshly developed on the book of Galatians!
Well, many changes are on the horizon.

First of all we just concluded Messianic Prophecies’ and I know that I must sound like a broken record, but Steven is really going to have this 12 part series available soon on his web site. This will be a series that you will want to listen to over and over again. It is also a GREAT gift and evangelism tool.

Also, we will begin a study of Hebrew’s in September. Steven has written an amazing book on Hebrew’s. So we will tackle this topic and this book soon. I am sure that this is a study that you will want to be part of.

Steven will be out of town working for the month of August-we were going to have special guests but have decided to take the month and work on the move that Jill and I are about to embark upon. Our lease is up soon- we will be moving our office into our home.

My good friend Chris Barker, the worship leader at Brookhaven Baptist Church just north of LBJ on Marsh Lane has offered us a space at the Church to continue our fellowship. Stay tune for more news about this.

Many Christians thirst for knowledge of our faith’s Jewish roots. They are hungry for answers that can revitalize faith and transform lives. Their questions range from how the Jewish culture and traditions of Jesus’ day give deeper insight into His teachings to why the ancient Jewish holy days are relevant to Christian believers. And whether current events in the Middle East are evolving as foretold by ancient Hebrew prophecies.
The answers to these questions are crucial to an accurate appreciation of our heritage and destiny. You may have a question of your own concerning the Jewish heart of Christianity.
As a fourth-generation Jewish Christian, Steven address’s these issues with informed answers. And as a Jewish believer, trained in both church and synagogue, with a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary, he is well equipped to carry on a family tradition of reaching both Jew and Gentile for Messiah.

Clicking on the link below will take you to Steven’s web site. There you will find a great deal more information on his ministry.

The purpose of Tzedakah Ministries can be found in its name — Tzedakah — which in Hebrew means “righteousness.” However, Tzedakah means so much more. As the Holman Bible Dictionary explains, “…righteousness is the fulfillment of the terms of a covenant between God and humanity or between humans in the full range of human relationships.” Tzedakah Ministries has a burden to see the Jewish people restored to a righteous covenant relationship with Him — one that is only possible through Messiah Jesus.

Greetings My Friends,

Can you believe that summer is around the corner. Boy, how sweet it would be if time could just slow down a little bit. I know that there is so much happening in our busy lives these days - that is one reason that I look so forward to our gatherings. It is so spiritually refreshing and the time we spend together in fellowship is priceless.

This Passover season was incredible. I have been on the phone with Pastor’s, Rabbi’s and Congregational leaders through out this country and I would say that each one averaged 8 Passover services. What an amazing time for churched people to learn about the meaning behind this wonderful, biblical feast.

I am in Washington D.C as I write this, as part of a small team that has put together a prayer walk and benefit concert for Yom HaShoa (Holocaust Remembrance Day). Please go to this link if you are interested in finding out more about this and PLEASE PRAY for us.

http://www.tos.info/Home.864.0.html

Jackie and Fritz Hager will begin attending our fellowship with a friend of theirs, Millie, an 80+ year young Jewish women who I met at Steven Ger’s Passover dinner. Millie is so loving and sweet and I believe is getting ready to meet her Messiah. Please be very sensitive to her and don’t be pushy-love her to the Lord.
We will be meeting a week from tomorrow, on Saturday the 17th of April. We are still meeting at 3PM and in June, as the days are longer, will be changing back to 4PM.

Saturday, April 17th our study resumes with Steven Ger (from 3PM to 5PM).

I have finished editing Steven Ger’s teachings. As you know, Steven is in full time ministry, and relies on donations in order to continue doing what he does. These teaching will be available for a small donation. Please visit Stevens web site –the address is below.
I appreciate each one of you and look forward to seeing you soon.
